Recent Concert Highlights

Chambersburg, PA - July 4, 2019

Good news! The rain held off and the concert was a go! There was a lively crowd and plenty of wonderful music to fill the air for this concert.

Beginning with a scary start with a small fire in one of the stage lights when a bird's nest ignited from the heat. Once fixed, the sound system was off due to a circuit breaker issue but quickly fixed.

Guest Director Jack Hawbaker started the band with the spirited performance of Bravura to the delight of all the fans. This year the band debuted a performance of a medley of tunes from the rock musical, Jesus Christ, Superstar and a little known comedy delight from West Side Story called Officer Krupkie.

The last song was cut short as the fireworks started a little early (probably due to threatening weather). The band quickly performed the famous Stars and Strips, Forever as a inspiration to the dazzling fireworks display. (7/5/2019)
